ÌDÈ (Bondage) was born from a burden God placed on my heart – a longing to tell stories in an unconventional way, beyond just entertainment, stories that stir faith, confront truth, and remind believers of the authority they carry in Christ.
Many of us go through battles we’ve come to accept as “normal,” simply because we were told, “that’s just how life is.” Others are fighting unseen struggles without even realizing they’re in a fight. This play was created to shine light in those hidden places, to show what freedom truly looks like, and to point people back to the One who breaks every chain.
IDE is a blend of excellence, creativity, comedy, and deep spiritual truth. Through every rehearsal and planning session, it has been clear that God is very intentional about this production. It is not just a performance. It’s an encounter. My greatest desire is that everyone who attends will leave transformed. That burdens will lift, deliverance will take place, and the lawful captives will be set free.
It’s a play that will keep you at the edge of your seat, have you laughing till your belly hurts, and most importantly, draw you into a moment of breakthrough.
This will truly be a December to Remember. I’m inviting you to join us on the 26th.
Welcome to the story.
ÌDÈ journeys into the unseen battle between heritage and destiny. In directing this piece, I chose Symbolic and Ritualistic Realism to mirror the spiritual duality of our world; where sounds, light, and voices become languages of warfare and worship. Every sound, color, and gesture holds meaning.
Through Samuel’s struggle, we confront our own invisible chains and witness the power of divine truth over ancestral darkness. May this performance pierce through the ordinary and awaken something eternal within you, revealing that this is far more than a story; it is a present spiritual reality. This I know may cause a stirring within you, a deep longing for an encounter with the Living God who continues to break chains and set even lawful prisoners free
